Résuméfit Uses Science and Technology to Integrate Candidate's Soft Skills Into Written Resumes

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 25, 2007 -- Résuméfit today announced it has developed a comprehensive resume system to insert the hard-to-measure soft skills of candidates into electronic resumes (http://resumefit.com/resumetipselectronic.html). Résuméfit has developed the Integrated Evidentiary Résumé System? (IERS?) to allow candidates to embed authentic and relevant soft skill (http://resumefit.com/resumeassessments.html) testing information into their resumes, creating the next generation resume.

A candidate simply completes the WorkPlace Big Five ProFile? (WB5P?) online, which measures 29 unique workplace personality dimensions and 54 workplace competencies. The candidate then uploads their resume and Résuméfit will insert their summarized workplace assessment data.

Along with the assessment data, Résuméfit also embeds its organizational digital signature (http://resumefit.com/resumedigital.html) from VeriSign?. The resume is delivered to the candidate in MS Word so that the document can be easily integrated into past, present and future hiring processes. The digital signature provides proof of data integrity as well as bullet-proof document alteration detection to all reviewers. Résuméfit is the first company to enable portable, tamper-proof, digitally-locked assessments in a resume.

"Candidates who provide a next generation resume bring something more to the table than just the tired old resume," said Tom Schmidt, Résuméfit president and founder. "They offer a competitive differentiator that will give employers an added view into the potential employee's capabilities before a hiring decision is made."

Résuméfit's comprehensive resume system also auto-generates a detailed web portfolio for the candidate that graphically displays their 29 unique workplace personality dimensions and 54 workplace capacity competencies. The web portfolio also contains their original and digitally signed next gen resume (http://resumefit.com/index.html).

Although employers typically bear the cost of administering assessments to determine if a candidate is a good fit for the job, Résuméfit's business model shifts the opportunity for assessment testing (http://resumefit.com/resumescience.html) to the candidate. Since many employers don't administer assessments, the additional data submitted by the candidate gives employers the ability to reach more objective hiring decisions.

Résuméfit in conjunction with the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies offers two assessments. One is geared to the professional who has been in the workforce and the other is geared to the specific environment of a student. Both assesments measure the same 29 unique workplace personality dimensions and 54 workplace capacity competencies.

The WB5P was developed by the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies and is based on the Five Factor Model of Personality. It assesses behavior in the workplace and uses workplace terms and examples in the questions. People taking the assessment are asked to think about themselves at work as they answer the questions since most people report that they are somewhat different at work than in their lives at-large.

A one year subscription is just $37 with a money back guaranty. The price is set to reflect high value versus the financial restraints and stress of being unemployed or the stress of contemplating the next career move. After paid-for subscription period ends, there is no charge for periods of time candidates don't need to edit, update and transmit your next gen resume.
